The Pancreatic Cancer Data Warehouse (PCDW) is being designed as a separate, read-only database. Users will access the PCDW via a front-end application. The PCDW will be populated by data extracted from the PCCR.

The dimensions which have been included are: Geography, Race, Gender, Marital Status, Education, Alcohol Habits, Smoking Habits, Blood Type, Age at Diagnosis, Mutation Genes, Toxic Exposures, and Body Mass Index (BMI). The use of a star schema with a short list of the utilized data has allowed us to go through the whole cycle of the DW development and finish these projects in a short period of time.
